TAKTO ONE
Open-source experimental hand-exoskeleton research prototype with twelve working joint encoders and two fitted servos; non-medical and noncommercial.
Product Overview
TAKTO ONE is an open-source experimental hand-exoskeleton prototype designed and built by Sebastian Molano for a master's-thesis project at Hochschule Anhalt. The worn device records twelve finger-joint angles and uses tendon drives on the four long fingers; two servos are currently fitted, although the published design provides more motor positions. The creator has not yet reported measured force, latency or assistance performance, and the thumb mechanism remains unfinished. A browser-based digital twin can run on simulated data without connected hardware. TAKTO ONE is a research build, not a commercial product, medical device or certified protective system; the sensing-only TAKTO Lite configuration is described in the same project rather than treated as a separate EI product.
